THE LIVING END TAKE OVER AUSTRALIA

Well they’ve made it through a gruelling 22 date Warped tour and now their currently cornering the country travelling far and wide across the States to continuing their onslaught of the American market with their own headlining shows.

The Living End garnered the respect of the Warped bands and workers alike with one of the highlights of the tour being the nightly BBQ’s in the parking lots, but in Chicago it was somewhat more special then other nights as The Living End snagged a few fans with an intimate performance to celebrate the end of Warped!

It’s not far off now until the band return home to Australian fans for their 34 date All States Of Emergency tour, held during the school holidays in most states.

Tour presenting partner Channel [V] will join the band with their infamous Confessional Van on site at two shows, those being The Palace Under 18 show in Melbourne on September Thursday September 21 and Shelley’s, Wollongong under 18 show on Saturday October 14.

Members of The Living End may well be lurking around to hear a few confessions when the Channel [V] Confessional Van rolls into town at these two locations.

The Living End seem to be sewing up all demographics with news just in that they are nominated for Best Band with the Nikelodeon Annual Kid’s Choice Awards and a nomination in the Dolly Teen Choice Awards for the Hottest Album category, alongside their mates Green Day, and pop acts The Veronicas and Anthony Callea.

At the end of the forthcoming Australian tour, The Living End will shoot off to Japan for a few shows and they’ve just been confirmed to tour the UK with Less Than Jake & Dropkick Murphys in November.

Tickets are selling fast for The Living End ‘All States Of Emergency’ tour in Australia, a reminder this will be your last chance to catch this exceptional live band on home turf for some time.

Special guests for the shows are End of Fashion (all shows) and Red Riders (everywhere bar WA, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory).

BLUE KING FOR SPEARHEAD

Blue King Brown are gearing up for the release of their debut album later this year by sharing the stage with some exceptionally talented artists over the coming months.

Through August and September they will bring their afro infused reggae beats to support local blues maestro Ash Grunwald and one of Australia’s most loved international touring artists Michael Franti.

Blue King Brown have spent the past few years touring Australia with the likes of The John Butler Trio, Damien Jr Gong Marley and Cody Chestnut, as well as playing festivals in Australia, Japan and Fiji.

The ‘land rights inspired’ debut single “Water” from their self-titled EP slotted smoothly into high rotation on Triple J and community stations across the country and earned them a prestigious APRA Songwriters Award in 2005.

With a new single getting ready to drop mid August and their debut album hitting stores in October, the vibe surrounding Blue King Brown is buzzing.

Blue King Brown are fast becoming one of Australia’s most captivating live acts! Get to one of these shows and find out why.
