MORE BETTER TOUR

Weapon X & Ken Hell are about to embark on their first major Australian & New Zealand Tour. These fellas, known for their awesome word play, insanely good beats and an unrivalled live set have prepared a show to tear up every venue that gets in their way!

To most, the names Weapon X & Ken Hell are new to the ear after the recent success of there debut album Sneakerpimpin ain’t easy, lead by the hype from singles “Otherman” and “Sneakerpimpin ain’t easy”. The group’s third single “Stares & Whispers” featuring Aussie soul legend Renee Geyer is set to propel them into the limelight once more.

To coincide with their national tour a limited collector’s edition of their album Sneakerpimpin Ain’t Easy has been released featuring bonus material and is aptly titled the ‘More Better Version’.

Originally individual members of the Melbourne super crew of the mid nineties Ill Flow Affiliation (IFA), they soon established a loyal following after they featured heavily on the Battletown classic album Kollab Mode. As Weapon X & Ken Hell, they have been blessing Australian stages for more than seven years. Ever controversial, Weapon X made a name for himself through the local MC Battle scene before hanging up his gloves to focus on his song writing and beat making.

Weapon X’s skill as a producer has placed him in high demand within the Australian hip-hop community with his beats appearing on various artists’ albums and compilations. As an MC and a producer Weapon X has collaborated with a diverse selection of both local and international hip hop artists.

Ken Hell is the life of any party and this is evident to anyone witnessing an X and Hell live show. Gone are the days of merely standing on the stage and rapping- when you go to a Weapon X and Ken Hell gig you get entertained.

The “More Better Tour” incorporates a little extra flavour than your standard live performance. This is not just a hip-hop show! Be prepared for stand up comedy (featuring special guest Take it Easy Heezy), interesting side shows, crazy stage props, DJ scratch solo’s from DMC finalist “DJ A-style”, guest appearances plus much more. The tour set combines the group’s hit songs, a range of material from their album as well as incorporating much of their new mixtape Scar-Non Vol. 3 Kick To The Head.

RO SHAM BO RETURNS

The last one was a sold out spectacular - and the next one is gonna be bigger!

Ro Sham Bo - Sydney’s only night dedicated to gettin’ hyphy - returns to The Clare Hotel on Saturday June 24th with the greatest DJ’s in the damn city (and abroad!).

Returning will be part time tennis champ and full time party animal Sleater Brockman, as well as the magnificent Moriarty and Spruce Lee, the hottest man to ever wear glasses. New to the team are Jimmy Sing, who just opened a record store that is gonna change Sydney and Woody McDonald, the best Melbourne dude organisers know.

Naturally they’ll be playing that party music nobody else does - crunk, hyphy, dancehall, reggaeton, Baile funk, Baltimore club, and whatever other jams straight outta 2012 can be found.

Entry is only FIVE BUCKS. That is all kinds of value.
