SUBAUDIBLE HUMS GET LOUDER

With the blazing success of their digital single “Sugarcoat” and the eminent release of their second full length In Time For Spring, On Came The Snow SubAudible Hum get ready to launch their new single “All For The Caspian”.

A swelling opus of a song that is as beautiful as it is menacing, it is what the boys do best.

Also on the release is the Triple J fave “Sugarcoat” only released digitally until now, remixes of tracks from their first record Everything You Heard Is True by New York’s Secret Frequency Crew & ex-Avalanches DJ Gordon McQ as well as a live track recorded on PBS Studio 5 Live.

With the new album out in October this is a great taste test of what’s to come with added experiments from the past.

Both forthcoming shows will be supported by Sydney-based friends the Morning.

Dates:
Friday 25th August - Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
Thursday 31st August - The Filth @ Lady Lux, Kings Cross

LITTLE BIRDY CHIRPS UP

Little Birdy have been prolific in recent months, recording a follow up album to their 2004 ARIA gold debut bigbiglove. The new album was recorded in Los Angeles with renowned producer John King of the Dust Brothers (Beck’s Odelay; Beastie Boys Paul’s Boutique and the Fight Club soundtrack).

With a new Little Birdy single “Come On Come On” to hit the stores on September 16, Little Birdy are very excited to announce an Australian tour to launch the first single from the new album.

Little Birdy look forward to playing their sonically smooth and sexy new music as well as favourites on this national launch tour.

And on the topic of sonic and sexy, Little Birdy have invited the mighty impressive One Horse Town, one of Western Australia’s most mesmerising and popular bands to support them on the tour. One Horse Town have recently released their debut album “Six Feet Of Snow”, a seminal classic until the masses hear about it!
