OH BOY IT’S
JOHNNY BOY
London duo Johnny
Boy will bring their band to tour Australia after
gracing the Festival
Stages at Summersonic in Japan alongside Arctic Monkeys,
Daft Punk and Flaming Lips.
The Boy/Girl duo,
Lolly Hayes and Davo, own one of Mick Jones old
guitars and boast
Manic Street Preachers James Dean Bradfield as co-producer
behind the mixing desk.
Their self-titled
debut album through Speak n Spell is a collection
of beats, breaks and
electro pop. Bubbling with enough rah-rah to make
the Go! Team look like buzzkills.
Single “You Are the
Generation Who Bought More Shoes and You Get What
You Deserve” has received a lot support and
accolades from UK and US press and plenty of Triple
J play.
If your into Spectorpop,
The Clash, Beach Boys and Super Furry Animals – then
get tickets to Johnny Boy now.
